Joining takes one tap

Send grandparents a private invite link by message or email. They tap it, sign in, and they’re in the album.

Rather read it out over the phone? Every family has a 4-digit code. They type it into Lumo to ask to join, and anyone in the family can let them in.

How do grandparents join?

Send them a private invite link and they tap it, or give them your 4-digit family code. A code only asks to join; someone in the family lets them in.

Do grandparents need an iPhone?

Lumo is on iPhone and iPad today, so grandparents need one of those to open the album. Invite links open on any phone or computer.

What if they lose the invite link?

Give them your 4-digit family code instead. They type it into Lumo to ask to join, and anyone in the family can let them in.

Can grandparents add photos?

Yes. Everyone in the family album can add photos and videos, heart them and comment.

Who can see our photos?

Only the people in your family album. Nothing is public, there are no followers, and photos are never shown to anyone outside your family.
