Photo to 3D character
Turn your family into 3D characters.
Lumo turns a photo into a frame from an animated film, with your family as the characters. Or try a glossy clay figure, or a soft plushie made from a favorite drawing.
Free on iPhone, iPad and Android. Private to your family.

Three ways to go 3D
Each one starts from a photo in your family album. These were all made from the same birthday photo.

How it works
Open a photo in your Lumo album, tap Make something, and choose 3D character, Clay figure or Plushie. The result is saved next to the photo, and your original never changes.
Plushies work best from drawings
The plushie style is made for drawings and pets. Photograph a favorite drawing, add it to your album, and turn it into a soft, stitched toy.
A picture, not a 3D file
Lumo makes a picture in a 3D style that you can save, print and share. It doesn’t make a 3D model file for 3D printing or games.
Questions
Does magic cost anything?
Each piece of magic uses a few flowers, Lumo’s in-app credits. Lumo Pass makes magic unlimited for the whole family.
Do I need to write a prompt?
No. Pick the photo and tap a style. Lumo handles the rest.
Can I 3D print it?
No. Lumo makes a picture in a 3D style, not a 3D model file.
Does it change my original photo?
No. The new version is saved as a new picture next to the original.
Who can see our photos?
Only the people in your family album. Nothing is public, there are no followers, and photos are never shown to anyone outside your family.
