How to make a sticker from a photo

  1. Choose a photo with clear faces. One to five people works best.
  2. Wait a moment while the people are cut out, on your device.
  3. Keep the white border for a sticker, or turn it off for a transparent cut-out.
  4. Download a PNG to send like a photo, or a 512 × 512 WebP to make a WhatsApp sticker.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The cut-out is made by a small model that runs in your browser. Your photo is never sent to Lumo or anyone else.
Is it free?
Your first sticker is free, with no sign-up, and carries a small Lumo watermark. To make stickers without the watermark, use Sticker in the Lumo app.
Does it work with pets?
This tool looks for people. For a pet, or to turn the whole family into a cartoon or plushie, use Magic in the Lumo app.
How do I send it in a chat?
Download the PNG, open the chat in WhatsApp, iMessage or any other app, and send it like a photo. It keeps its white border and the small Lumo watermark.
How do I make it a WhatsApp sticker?
Choose “For WhatsApp & chats” to download a 512 × 512 WebP under 100 KB. In WhatsApp, open a chat, go to stickers, choose Create sticker and pick the file. Or add it with a sticker app.
