Your account
Delete your Lumo account.
You can delete your account and its data at any time, right in the app. This page explains how, and what happens next.
Delete it in the app
- Open Lumo and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
To keep your photos, save them to your phone first.
What is deleted
You’re signed out everywhere, right away. Then, in the background, Lumo deletes the photos and videos you added, your comments and reactions, your flowers, your profile and your sign-in account. If you were the last person in a family album, that album is deleted too.
This can’t be undone.
What is kept, and for how long
Deleted data may remain in backups or logs for a limited time before it’s overwritten. We keep purchase records as long as tax and accounting law requires. Photos other family members added stay in their album.
Lumo Pass isn’t cancelled by deleting your account
Lumo Pass is billed by Apple. Cancel it in the iPhone Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, or it will keep renewing.
Can’t open the app?
Email contact@doola.ai from the address connected to your Lumo account, with the subject “Delete my Lumo account”. We’ll check it’s you, delete the account and its data as described above, and confirm by email within 30 days.
Just want to leave a family album?
You don’t have to delete your account. Open Settings and tap Leave family album. Your photos stay in that album, and you can join another family later.
