Celebration of life
Gather everyone’s photos, in one quiet place.
When someone dies, their photos are scattered across family phones, old albums and friends you’ve never met. Lumo gives you one private album where everyone can add what they have.
Free on iPhone, iPad and Android. Private to your family.
No app? Open your album in any web browser: app.lumomagic.com

Everyone adds what they have
Make an event in Lumo and send its link, or put its QR code on the order of service. Family and friends add photos and videos from their phones, or in a browser without installing anything.
Old prints can be added too: photograph them with a phone and add them like any other photo.

For the service, and after it
Everything is in one place for whoever is putting together the slideshow or the printed photos, at full quality.
The album doesn’t expire. People can come back to it, and keep adding photos they find later.
Private, and gentle
Only the people you invite can see it:
- No public pages, no strangers
- Turn on “Only admins can let people in” to approve each person
- No ads, and we don’t sell your data

Questions
Do people need to install an app?
No. They can open the link and choose “Continue in your browser” to add photos at app.lumomagic.com, signed in.
Can we download the photos for a slideshow?
Yes. Anyone can save the photos. With Lumo Pass, which covers everyone in the album, they can save the full-quality originals and whole videos.
Is Lumo really free?
Yes. The album, unlimited photos and videos, inviting family, hearts and comments are all free. Lumo Pass is optional, for unlimited magic, full-length videos and saving originals. Unlimited means unlimited for everyday family use, under fair use.
How are the photos kept safe?
Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest, and only people in the album can open them. Invite links stop working after 30 days, and you can turn a link off or remove someone at any time. There are no ads, and we don’t sell your data.
Does Lumo use AI on our photos?
Only when someone in your family asks. Lumo Magic runs when someone taps it on a photo: that one photo is sent to OpenAI or Google to make the new picture, which is saved next to the original. The rest of the album isn’t sent anywhere for AI, and the original stays exactly as it was. More in our privacy policy.
